Your boy has been making up for all the time lost while he was healing from his unfortunately necessary operation back in February. So, I've been sort of trying to figure out the best way to balance all the things I'd like to do. Unfortunately ya boi has realized that he only has so many hours in the day to dedicate to hobbies that require you to actively pay attention to them while you're working on them. What's the solution? Obviously, the answer is passive hobbies.

Anyway, I may or may have talked about my bonsai, a P. Afra named Leif, and How I've been growing it (though maybe not necessarily training it as rigorously as I should have), so I figured "Hey, why not go all in on this gardening thing?" That, unfortunately, was where the trouble started.

Now I don't mean trouble as in BAD trouble, but trouble as in I soon found myself with a lot of seeds, cuttings, and other supplies, and not a whole lot of room to keep them in my 1 bed 1 bath condominium. It simply would not be practical to do so, and it would be impossible to move around effectively in here AND take care of the plants. That is, until I remembered my sorely neglected back porch.

Now when I say neglected, I really mean it. There was tons of stuff out there I hadn't had time to get rid of, dirt all over the place, and it was genuinely just space that was being actively wasted. So, with multiple plants quickly sprouting, and no other options available to me, I spent a good chunk of Saturday morning just cleaning stuff out. Also setting up a temporary folding table to use as a workspace. That's when I got it into my head "Hey, maybe I can grow crystals out here too." And that's how my greenhouse project ended up becoming a Science Lair.

Will my crops flourish? Or will they wither? Find out on the next exciting episode of "Wayne doesn't know what the FUCK he's doing"
